Hulbert Block

Hulbert Block is a three-story building located on Whyte Avenue, the most vibrant street in Old Strathcona lined with a multitude of shops, restaurants and entertainment venues.

The building was originally constructed in 1912 and has been the long-time home to Block 1912, a well known café and catering company. The upper floors have remained vacant for many years.

An extensive restoration program complete with a new façade has breathed new life into the formerly under-utilized building but will also land it on the designated Municipal Historic Resource list.

Leasing efforts are underway for the second floor space which is currently built out as an aesthetic spa.

Current Tenants Include: Block 1912, Around The Corner Counselling and Fiera Engineering.
