Oliver Exchange
12021 102 Avenue, Edmonton, AB
The original West End Telephone Exchange was built in 1913 to accommodate an expanding demand for telephone service in the city. Oliver Exchange is a new chapter for the building – envisioned as a collaborative mixed-use office, retail and workshop hub for inter-business activity and commerce in the heart of Oliver.
While modern amenities and aesthetics were incorporated into the redevelopment, historical elements were preserved to highlight the century old character of this building and safeguard its prominence in the neighbourhood for many years to come. The project kicked off March 2017 and is now complete.
Tenants include Iconoclast Coffee, Culina To Go, Brio Bakery, Odd Company Brewing, Plum Home + Design along with Foundry Room, an event rental space, and The White Gallery, a bridal shop.
